Wear something comfortable and easy to change out of, such as gym or lounge wear.
Depending on the treatment area, you may be asked to remove certain clothing to allow your therapist to work effectively—for example, upper-body work may require removing your top, while lower-body treatment may require access to your legs.
You will always be professionally draped with towels throughout the session to ensure your privacy, comfort, and dignity are maintained at all times.
If you are not comfortable removing any garments, please let your therapist know—we will always do our best to adapt the treatment to suit your comfort level.
For your comfort, we also recommend avoiding heavy lotions or oils on the skin prior to your session.
Payment is taken on the day of your appointment. We currently only accept payment by cash or bank transfer.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Some discomfort can be expected during deeper techniques, especially if we're working on areas of tension, tightness, or injury. However, the massage should never feel unbearable. Communication is key — your therapist will always check in with you and adjust the pressure to suit your comfort level.
It's normal to feel a little sore after a treatment, especially if it's your first time or you've had a deeper session. This usually eases within 24–48 hours and is a sign your body is responding to the work.

Not at all! While sports massage is popular among athletes, it benefits anyone experiencing muscle tension, stiffness, or recovering from injury. Whether you’re active in sports, work a physically demanding job, or simply want to improve your muscle health and flexibility, sports massage can help you feel better and perform at your best.
A sports massage focuses specifically on muscles, tendons, and ligaments to improve performance, aid recovery, and prevent injuries. It uses targeted techniques like deep pressure and stretching to address tightness and muscle imbalances.
In contrast, a typical spa massage is generally more about relaxation and stress relief, using lighter, soothing strokes. While both feel great, sports massage is more therapeutic and tailored to active lifestyles or those with specific muscle concerns.
An upper body massage focuses on areas like the neck, shoulders, back, arms, and chest—perfect if you carry tension or soreness in these spots.
A lower body massage targets the legs, hips, glutes, and lower back, ideal for those who experience tightness or discomfort in these areas.
Choosing upper or lower body allows you to concentrate on the parts of your body that need the most attention, especially during shorter sessions.
In many cases, yes — but it depends on the type and severity of your injury. Before your treatment, your therapist will discuss your condition in detail to ensure the massage is safe and appropriate for you.
Some injuries may require a gentler approach or a referral to a healthcare professional before massage therapy can begin. Always be honest about your symptoms and any medical advice you’ve received so we can tailor your treatment for the best possible outcome.
When booking, you’ll be asked to indicate whether you’d prefer an upper-body, lower-body, or full-body massage. If you’re unsure, don’t worry—your therapist will talk this through with you on the day and assess what’s best suited to your needs.
If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to get in touch—we’re always happy to help.
For a 30-minute session, full body massages aren’t recommended as the time is usually too short to work effectively on all areas. Instead, we suggest focusing on either the upper or lower body during shorter sessions to ensure you get the best possible treatment.
If you’d like a full body massage, we recommend booking a 45 or 60-minute session.
